As a child Kelcey fluctuated back and forth between wanting to join the circus or be an artist. Today she believes that she has accomplished both.... Her work comes from life experience, experimentation and emotion. She is fascinated with the way colors work against one another. A sharp edge, a blurred line…. Instead of trying to reveal every detail Kelcey picks and chooses her detail and leaves the rest to the audience. Her work is a bit whimsical, maybe dream-like; personal journeys, places to be revisited and conjured up.
